TREC: Information about brokerage services, Consumer protection notice

*The following offers are available only to clients who are purchasing a home with the ATX home Advisor Team and financing with a referred Loan Officer of the Canopy Mortgage’s TLC Group: (1) Client purchasing with an ATX Home Advisor Team Agent will receive a 1.5% rebate, plus a $1000 lender credit (applied to fees) at the closing/funding of their purchase (based on a 3% buyer commission). For example, a


$400,000 home purchase price, the client would receive a credit of 1.5% credit of $6,000, plus a $1,000 credit toward closing costs, for a total benefit of $7,000.

**Qualifying for ATX Home Advisor Team’s rebate requires clients selling their home using an ATX Home Advisor Team real estate agent. For example, a $400,000 home sales price, the seller-client would receive a credit of 1% credit of $4,000. Clients retain the right to negotiate their individual listing agreement (example based on a 3% seller commission)

Complaint forms and instructions may be obtained from the department’s website at www.sml.texas.gov A toll-free consumer hotline is available at 1-877-276-5550. The department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of certain actual out of pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed residential mortgage loan originators. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the department prior to the payment of a claim.
